SAUNA HEATING INSTRUCTION

  • So you can get the best sauna experience:
    – Pull the ash handle open about two fingers to allow oxygen in (leave it in that position for the whole time, when you are using sauna);
    – The first batch of stove should be rather smaller;
    – To make a fire, use the wood chips in the basket (don’t put paper or anything else in the stove);
    – Add more wood when the previous batch is at the end of its useful life;
    – The sauna is ready to use when it feels hot enough;
    – Once the sauna has reached a sufficient temperature, 2-3 pieces of wood can be thrown down from time to time to maintain the temperature;
    – Avoid overheating the sauna, which will be indicated by a change in the colour of the fireplace (red glow).

PEDASPÄ IGLOO AND SAUNA HOUSE RULES

  • We ask you to keep the Igloo and Sauna as your own home, with care and love.
  • Fires are only allowed in sauna and barbecue grill.
  • Frying in the igloo is prohibited
  • We want to preserve nature and ask you to do the same.
  • Please leave fireworks and all other explosive and flammable materials at home.
  • Smaller and medium sized well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional fee 20€/animal.
  • Even though Pedaspä is a peaceful place, we ask you to keep your pet on a leash while going on a walk. There are other dogs in the village of Pedaspea whose mental health is important to us.
  • The Pedaspä igloo family is not responsible for the loss of your personal belongings. Please keep the Igloo doors closed if you plan to leave for a hike or to explore the nature.
  • Pedaspä igloo hosts are not liable for accidents caused by guests not respecting the rules.
  • Smoking is not allowed indoors. The ban also extends to e-cigarettes and other products that heat/vaporize tobacco or nicotine solution
  • Quiet hours starts at 00.00
  • Additional guests by prior arrangement only for additional fee (50% of the accommodation price).
  • At Pedaspä Igloo parties are forbidden
  • If you encounter a dangerous situation, call 112
  • In case of violation of the property of Pedaspä Iglu OÜ, the service provider has the right to impose a fine of up to EUR 300.
  • By making a reservation, the visitor agrees to the rules set by Pedaspä Iglu OÜ.

SAUNA RULES

  • We ask that you do not use exfoliants, honey or other greasy products in the Igloo Sauna.
  • Whipping with whisk is allowed
  • The use of essential oils in the sauna is allowed.
  • In the sauna, please use a towel under the seat
